The America Reads program is dedicated to helping kids learn to read.  VistaCorps volunteers coordinate the efforts of community volunteers at

·           North Hart

·           South Hart

·           Hartwell Elementary.

 

The community volunteers give 30 minutes to an hour of their time per week working with a child who has been identified by their teachers as needing help in developing reading skills.

 

Since every human being needs to read and comprehend at a high level to excel in life, these volunteers are helping these children prepare for a future of positive outcomes.
